Education and Training

Undergraduate:
Dr. Fox received his bachelors of science degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in biochemistry-molecular biology.  While studying at UCSB Dr. Fox received multiple award and accolades in recognition of his achievements including graduating with highest honors and distinction in the major as well as receiving and maintaining the Regents scholarship, the highest academic scholarship offered by the University of California system, throughout his for years of undergraduate study.

Medical School:
After graduating from UCSB Dr. Fox chose to continue to pursue his passion for science and the service of others by matriculating at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.  Dr. Fox continued to distinguish himself both academically personally through his strong sense of service to others.  He received honors in multiple courses during medical school including principles of pharmacology, anesthesiology clerkship, pain medicine evaluation and intervention clerkship and his medicine sub-internship.

Internship and Residency:
After completing medical school and earning his M.D., Dr. Fox chose to training to become an anesthesiologist,  A career that would allow him to satisfy his love of science with his desire to serve others.  Dr. Fox completed his internal medicine internship at the University of California School of Medicine.  He completed his anesthesia residency at the University of California School of Medicine as well.  During his residency Dr. Fox was able to take advantage of many opportunities to train under and learn from some of the biggest names in the Anesthesia world.
